A good checklist

Cures for pinholing

1-Lenghten the firing cycle,
2-Apply the glaze less thickly,
3-Add more flux to the glaze to make it more fluid,
4-Decrease the content of zinc or rutile,
5-Where zinc is used, try calcining half of the zinc content,
6-Increase the maturing temperature of the glaze,
7-Hold the kiln at the maturing temperature for a soaking
period of up to 4 hours,
8-Cool the kiln slowly.

Remèdes pour les trous d’épingle

1-Allonger le cycle de cuisson,
2- Appliquer la glaçure de façon moins épaisse,
3-Ajouter plus de fondants à la glaçure pour la rendre plus fluide,
4-Diminuer la teneur en zinc ou en rutile,
5-Où le zinc est utilisé, essayer de calciner la moitié de la teneur en zinc,
6 Augmenter la température de maturation de l'émail,
7 Maintenir le four à la température de maturation pour une période de

 nappage allant jusqu'à quatre heures,
8 Refroidir le four lentement.

6-Pliigu la maturecotemperaturon de la glazuro,
7-Tenu fornon ĉe la maturecotemperaturo por trempada
periodo ĝis 4 horoj,
8- Malvarmigu fornon malrapide.
